Warwickshire Wildlife Trust run weekly Nature Tots sessions at Brandon Marsh (Thursday), Brueton Park (Friday) and Tile Hill Woods (Wednesday).
Aimed at 2 to 4 year olds each themed session includes a series of short activities in the outdoors before returning to the classroom for crafts and activities.
Our session included searching for toy hedgehogs hidden in the woods, digging for mini beasts to ‘feed’ the hedgehogs, making hedgehog mud pies with sticks for spikes and muddy handprint painting. We made hedgehog masks in the class room session afterwards.
Sessions run in all weathers and are £3 per session or FREE for families from Coventry, Nuneaton or Bedworth.
You can turn up 15ish mins late if your little one is napping in the car and still join in!
Wellies and waterproofs advised.
Pleasant coffee shop and outdoor picnic tables at Brandon Marsh.
Tile Hill sessions are booked through Tile Hill childrens centre.
Booking for Brandon Marsh and Brueton Park is online or a really quick phone call to leave your child’s name against the session you want to attend – I called the same morning an hour before the session.
